What’s on the telly

If you’ve read any of my bloggin’s over the past several years, you know that I love me some TV. Some of it is rather bad (like America’s Next Top Model), some of it is pretty decent (such as Heroes), and then there are shows that are pretty much the best thing around (LOST for example). Right now there are a few shows on that I needed to voice my opinion about.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villians

For starters, this season of Survivor is turning out to be one of my favorites in a while. Let’s go through some of the cast.

  • Candice: I don’t remember her from the first time she was on, and I forget about her 10 secs after she talks now.
  • James: Why thank you James for personally providing us with this great ocean and the trees. You have bestowed your presence upon us, and we are forever grateful. Oh, and thank you for also being a total ass.
  • JT: Pick a side/story and stick with it. Otherwise you’re gonna blow the 2nd million.
  • Boston Rob: I’m gonna be nice, black out, have an epiphany that I should be bad again, win a challenge, then just kinda fade away.
  • Russell: I don’t think you’re as good as you think you think other people think you are.
  • Rupert: Did you ever actually leave the island or have you just been living there all along?
  • Coach: Jess said it best last night. “Coach can suck my d*ck!” She’s right, but I don’t thing he would, unless he thought it was honorable and just and/or a dragon.

I’m not gonna go through the rest of the cast just yet. I have my opinions of each of them, but I’m curious as to what everyone else thinks. Who’s gonna win? Who’s going home next? How does Colby keep his teeth so white? Do you think anyone would notice if Courtney were to just leave?

LOST

LOST

Ok, so other than Survivor, we are hard core on LOST. This is the final season and it’s promises to answer all our questions. I’m not sure if they are answering questions that we have now due to all the new characters OR if they are going to try and go back and answer all the questions we’ve had for 6 years. Like… why did the SmokeLockeMonster kill Mr. Eko? The gaggle of people that AREN’T the Oceanic 6 + Sawyer and Jin…where are they? Did SmokeLocke kill them? Is Rose ok? What about Hippy Translator and Samurai guy? What’s their story? How many more structures are they going to find? Hey, it’s a huge temple…and a Lighthouse…and a casino….and a Super Wal-Mart. At some point they’re going to have to just get the writers, producers, director, etc on the screen and just say “We f’d up. We have no idea where this story is going.” Or just be like “So the 48 people that were on the plane just kinda died in a horrible fire and they also had no back story or desire to get off the island.” I dunno, I’d just like for them to unravel the mystery a bit more swiftly. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the show and if it were to continue beyond this season, I’d be ok with that. I’m just sayin.

Jess has got me watching American Idol, but I have to say, the “talent” this year is BAD. There are one or two guys that are a total waste, but for the most part it is uncomfortable to watch these people up there. I see Andrew Garcia, Lee somethingoranother, Longhair McDirtyBlonde, and Shorty Youngenstein going far…but beyond that I have no idea. We’ve also been watching Grey’s Anatomy and I’m not gonna say that I’m hooked yet, but I really enjoy the show. Heroes had their season finale a few weeks back and I wasn’t overly impressed. It seems that Sylar is now a good bad good good bad guy now…good. The world knows that Clair can fall on her face and heal up and HRG has once again escaped dying. I do like that show and want to see how it evolves.

We also have been watching Project Runway, Vampire Diaries, and um…that’s about it. My Tivo is full, but come to think of it, there use to be a LOT more shows. What should we be watching? Any suggestions? Thursdays are booked for now, until I can get a second Tivo. What are you guys watching? What’s on that’s good? I miss shows like Top Chef, CSI, Make Me a Supermodel, MacGyver, etc. We’re always on the lookout for something new!

MACGYYYYYYYVEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!

So I found out today that YouTube has full episodes of several different programs. Most notably is MacGyver! Holy bjeez! I went to check it out and after my pre-req Target commercial I was treated to a high-def episode of Mac. I’d embed it if it were allowed. One Tivo, just isn't enough

There’s no way I can possibly record all the shows that I want to watch. Here’s a rundown of the things that I have to squeeze into my brain over the next several months.

House is pretty much the shit

The last 2 episodses of house season 1 hit a bit closer to home than i thought they would. a bit teary, but i’ll push thourhg. starting in on season 2. let’s see how this joker starts out.

why diud i never wathc this show before! l l cool j! i mean like this show is the shit!

 

EDIT: I managed to finish the first episode of season 2 before falling asleep (3 hours ago). Why am I back up? I think I should fix that.

Is it possibe to cream one's pants for 2hrs

THEN blow their load? I think that’s what happened tonight! I mean after 4hrs of Tivo’d SYTYCD (that’s So You Think You Can Dance for all you lame asses) it came down to the finale…or the finale was in the final 2hrs or some shit. Anyway. The last 2hrs, or the REAL finale was OF THE CHIZZLE!

Ok, so the show stared off with some dancing and then So You Think You Canning. But it quickly turned into Mary Murphy DANCING ON THE FUCKIN’ STAGE WITH DIMITRI! OMMFG! Quick sidebar for those that don’t know, I’d hit that in an instant. Mary Murphy is like my hot mom check in. I don’t know if she’s a mom, married, divorced, single, lesbian, or what, but she’s my older lady that I’d hit in a heartbeat. Maggie will tell you that every time she’s on the show I’m like droolsville! So anyway. After 4 seasons she’s not really done a dance, but tonight she got up there and shook her goove thang! And I have to tell you that dizam! I was on the floor for that. I could watch it a bajillion times and not get tired of it. I’ll have to round it up on youtube, but it’s to early for it to be on there yet. But any way. That was TEH HELLA!

After that the show kicked into more of the “favorites of the season” which were actully some of my favorites. From The Garden, choreographed by Sonya was on there and it’s def. on my top list.

I dunno, I guess I’m just into freaky dances. But still that shit was teh chizzle! bitches!

So, after that it went into more dances and a few that I wanted to see wheren’t on there and a few that I wanted to see made it. In the end I was surprised and not surprised at the same time. I mean, I wanted Katee  to make it further, but she didn’t. I reckon there had to be a winner and I’m pretty happy that it was Joshua! I mean, that dude was hard core. He was even epic if you will. Here are 2 dances that demonstrate the badassness of this shit!

So, incase you are curious, this dude’s a hip-hop dancer. He’s not trained in shit! And he pulled that shit off! I mean, I roll deep on them mugs all the time, but homie was hitting that shit hard.  So mad props to dude and teh skills.

So yeah, that’s pretty much how things went. I watched some Colbert, made some wicked ass steak fajitas, downed 3 beers, then made a rum and coke with the last of the parrot bay rum we had. Then made a rum and ice with the last of the malibu we had, then made a Gin and stomach with the last of the gin we had. Granted that was after the 1 sip of water I had today, so it should be all good.

So I should prolly be a lot more dirzunk than I am, but I imagine that its “on the way.” Oh and putting anything in quotes prolongs it, that’s the rule. Wait…I feel it now. So I reckon I should go to bed, but I’m kinda…..wait, I’m no longer awake like I was a second ago when I was typing that.

So this has been what I belive to be the most cognisant drunk post in the history of drunk posts. Maybe it’s just be reading it clear and it’s all uninteligible, but whateves!

Tomorrow is another day and I will still be alive. I will continue to move forward and I will not quit. I will not stop, I will not back down and I will not cease to continue. I have a new boss at work and to be honest I’m pretty happy about that. Jeff’s a good guy and I think he’ll help lead me and Gretchen in the right direction.

Won the popping competition, and I’m pretty happy about that. The competition itself was pretty dope.

OH SNAP! I almost forgot, the most dopest part of the show other than Mary Murphy was the Homage to the Rabbits. It was a Wade Robson routine that is about to be part of the Chris Angel show in Vegas. I really don’t give a crap about Chris Angle, but this routine made me cream my pants….again. So yeah, dems the breaks and dats da deal!

Survivor audition take 2: The video

I finally did it. I made a Survivor audition tape. Well, technically I made one a few season’s ago, but it was pretty awful. If I still had it up, I’d post it here, but trust me…it was pretty bad.

So over the weekend I went down to Griffin and with the help of Lewis we made the “tape”. I didn’t really get in all the points that I think I should have, but I had fun making it. I should’ve talked about myself a bit more, oh well. After spending like 8 hours making a 3 minute video clip I think I’m good.

Any way, enjoy, laugh, run and hide…its all good. Now I just need to fill out the damn paperwork.

he had 2 on the vine!

yeah i’ve seen it before but i had to post it again. it made maggie the happy so it was worth a post. tonight was one of the best the best night ever. i made some pretty damn good steaks, maggs was on the taters and then it was off to watch colbert and colbert and colbert and bones. we watched all that and then it was washington….12 foot forty weight a motherfuckin’ ton!

bones was back and was fantastic. i like the diachotomy of the bones boot sweet trio. sweets has a cute girlfriend and i’m sure w’ll see her again. other than that, dude from felicity and dude from LOST was there. omg can lost be any more very wehre? that’s not really possible, but it still rocks my rocks off. and i’m happy that bones is back it’ll be back next week and that’s cool cause it’s a good show.

so yeah. this week i am going to lose 5lbs. that’s right 20 stories tall made of ammunition! come next monday morning i will be at least 5 el bee ess leighter than i am now. i’m not like uber fat-so now, but i’m goingt to be much (much =5) less than that. i’m aslo training to run a steady comfortable 10k. that’s 10 k’s not just 1. i could run a good 4 or 5 now, but 10 is more than double less than half the lowest k i could run. and that’s my goal. to run the full 10 of them.

so yeah. on moneyday i’ll be there…but the 10k comfortable pace will be in 12 weeks, at least according to nike+. not nike-, nike+ it’s like MORE! like 90 days tall saving the grave nation! ok, well i think i’m outtie 9000 at 10:01 pm onm a monday. maggie’s typing away over there at something. i’m over here trying to type faster and not sound so drunk, but we all know that’s not realy happening. jon (lee) this one’s for you!

bears beware! oh, and do not ask me to do anything this weekend, i have plans.

Much better, thank you

After my cathartic post the other day I’ve started to feel a bit better. Maybe it’s me constantly telling myself that things aren’t bad or maybe it’s just been a few days since my last episode. Either way I like not feeling like I have no control over my actions. The only thing I’ve got going on now is some wicked tension headaches. I don’t like headaches ever and when you throw tension into the mix it’s like double not cool. But rather than let this thing bring me down, I’ll just deal with it do some exercises drink lots of water, take my vitamins, say my prayers, stay in school, and not do drugs.

Longest week ever…again

johnny fairplay’s out!

i’m tnot sure if you watched survivor or not, but johnny fairplay aka johnny fairplay got the boot tonight. he said that he wanted to go home becuase he missed his fetus aka unborn baby but really this tis what maggie an di deduced. it was ages agoe when he was on the show. there was drama when he got not put on all stars. he caucesed drama. CBS was like, “OMFG biches! lets get fairplay for the fans vs. favs. show.”! he was like “omfg biches pay me money!” they were like “omgf ratings will blow our minds!” peoepel jumpped on the show it was a smash it was on the interwebs the tubes and then he was like “f’  this s’ in the a’ you guys  can kiss my arse! i’ll take my check know, kthnxbi”

i’m prety srue that’s exaqtly how the meering went with j. fairplay and mr. cbs. but what am i just to say? all i know is that it’s seems a bit fishy and garhsh danngit if i should’ve been on this sean. my survivor audiotion tape was the blows?! i’ll make another one and it will blow the moteher!

on to otner news. i’m a converttee. at first i did not like christian on project runway, but after this week, i’m on his camp now. he was liek “this bitch is fierce and i’ma make a fierce thang for her!” that’s what he did. he’s just cocky and funny. i dunno. he’s pretty cool. this season is all kinds of commercialized, but that’s ok, i still like the show. tim gunn and the “make it work” crew are top notch in my book.

LOST introduced 2 new people in adddition to the 2 or 3 other people that were aslo introduced. it was a great episode and i know now why i waited this long to see it. i really want to talk about a) this season and b) my expectation s of this season, but i think i mgithg be too far gone to really analyse the situation. so LOST was rawking and i hope theat when the righters stirke ends that we will get more p’sodes. but it will most like liekly be in the fall. i’m ok with that as long as it happens.

ok, well, if’ve reached the point where i can no longer feel my face. i think that’s a good stopping point. for now i will go to bed and sleep until i wake up and go to work in the moring. tomrrow i will go to work and i will leave there and go to get my hair cut and then i will go and hang out with jon. i hear that he and tamera are no longer together but you know what, ? that is ok because he doesn’t seem nearly as upset as he did last time. he ins a much more oplder person now. omfg i just got dizzy and almost died. it is time for bed.
